It was love at first sight. My eyes skimmed though rows of beautiful floral clutches, past racks of lace dresses and landed on this timeless MONDI checked scarf cape by Ted Baker. Absolutely perfect for the winter, I love everything about this piece from the delicate colours to the soft feel to the versatility. I paired this cape with a deep purple skinny belt for a subtle colour contrast, and to make the silhouette more form fitting. In line with the soft colour palette, I popped on my Express light distressed girlfriend jeans, my Pour La Victoire pink and white pumps (sold out but these and these would look great with this scarf cape) and my pink bow bangle.
