With December around the corner, I’ve been on the lookout for some unique holiday dresses. I’ve always been a fan of brands like Kate Spade, Wildfox and Alicia and Olivia, for their playful sophistication and unique designs. When I stumbled upon this Cat Pattern A-Line Dress from Dezzal it reminded me of a mash-up between Kate Spade and Alice and Olivia, and I was immediately drawn to designer Shyslily’s fun and artist style. The shade of red is bright and cheery, and while it may not be your conventional holiday dress, this piece is sure to turn more than a few heads.

I initially thought this dress was going to be more structured, but upon receiving it I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of stretch in the polyester (what better way to hide those extra holiday pounds). Not only is this dress comfortable and breathable, but its OSFA concept offers a great body and sleeve length. I paired this dress with my black over-the-knee boots and Jeanne Lottie bag. I kept my accessories simple with my Kate Spade Mrs necklace and square stud earrings, but to spruce things up I recommend styling with some delicate shoulder-duster earrings, neutral pumps and a small clutch.
