Growing up I couldn’t imagine my childhood without my Barbie dolls. My sister and I would play with them for hours on end, often forcing our younger brother to be Ken or Skipper …something we didn’t hesitate to share with all our family and friends during his wedding speech just the other week. As I entered my teenage years my love for Barbie grew. While I had outgrown playing with my Barbie dolls I enjoyed collecting them and racking up a seemingly never-ending supply of Barbie stationery. From collector dolls to notebooks, pens, calendars and more, Barbie has always been a constant in my world. When Nitin and I got married our wedding invite was inspired by Barbie. I found inspiration in Robert Best Barbie sketches and modelled our invite after one of my favourite Barbie looks.
