One of my favourite moments from our recent NYC trip was our Sunday bike ride through Central Park. Nitin and I rented bikes from a local shop and spent the better part of the morning leisurely riding through the city’s most iconic park, snapping shots and enjoying the beautiful weather.

I wanted something comfortable to ride in and my H&M wide leg pants were the perfect choice. They are soft, lightweight and are quite possibly the comfiest pants I own at the moment. I paired this with a boxy pastel shirt from Forever 21’s contemporary collection (sold out now but similar options listed below) and a beautiful wool coat from Zara. Topping things off are my go-to Burberry sneakers and Louis Vuitton Speedy bag (I’m pretty sure this bag was made to look super cute in bike baskets eh).  I kept my accessories minimal and let my Lulu Frost necklace steal the spotlight. After all, how could I be steps away from the legendary Plaza hotel and not rock this piece. When Lulu Frost announced its Plaza collection years ago I nearly died (ok, a bit dramatic but you get the point). The hotel underwent renovation in 2005 and Lulu Frost designer Lisa Salzer purchased all the bronze numerals that once lined the hallways of the iconic hotel and repurposed them into jewelry. Brilliant, I know! While the original line is now sold out, Salzer cast and replicated each piece and they can be purchased here. The classic yet modern twist on my necklace makes it one I find myself reaching for time and time again, and it serves as the perfect piece to complete my Sunday look.
