My winter wardrobe is filled with warm, neutral tones, from cozy beige sweaters to timeless grey pieces. This year I’ve been trying to diversity and have a little more fun with my winter wear by introducing brighter colours and prints into the mix. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think I’ll ever quite part ways with my neutral knits, but adding a little pop goes a long way.
If you’re looking to add something fresh into the mix but aren’t quite ready to go super crazy with colours, this Embroidered Drawstring Lantern Sleeve Sweater (extra 15% off with discount code KIKIK15) offers the perfect mix of classy and colourful without being too out there. Not only is the quality fantastic but the details on this piece have me reaching for it at least once a week. The use of colours in the embroidered floral accents make this sweater great for pairing with just about anything, from jeans to skirts to leather pants. Bonus – the sleeves have a little drawstring so if you’re looking for a tighter closure around the wrist just pull, tie and voila!
My other favourite S piece this winter in this Fringe Detail Love Sweater. While this piece screams Valentine’s Day (yes, I’ll totally be rocking this on Feb 14th) it’s super fun and can’t help but brighten up a gloomy winter day. The fringe detailing is playful and unique and the message is on point. After all, all you need is love ….and a little discount. Use code KIKIK15 for 15% off your SheIn order.
I’ve also been adding a couple other pieces to my wardrobe including this KENZO Crewneck Sweater and this Block Stripe Flurry Sweater. I’ve been totally eyeing this Cable Knit Crop Sweater in yellow, this Oversized Slogan Sweater and this Paskavan Sweater, all of which are a far cry from my go-to colour palette.
