Our babymoon was one of the most incredible trips we’ve taken but by the end my legs were aching, my back was sore and my eyelids were fighting gravity. Nitin and I ended our romantic trip the best possible way we could have imagined; getting pampered at the majestic Spa My Blend by Clarins inside Le Royal Monceau hotel in Paris. I am so grateful to the Clarins family for this incredible experience and can’t wait to share it with you guys.

As I’m sure you all know by know, both Nitin and I swear by Spa My Blend by Clarins at home and you can check out my blog posts on it here and here. It’s become our little home away from home and is our go-to for massages, facials, body treatments and to escape from our often chaotic lives. Needless to say, we were both over the moon with the chance to experience Spa My Blend in Paris and were blown away with the same great service and treatments we’ve come to know and love.

We were greeted in the lobby with smiling faces before being ushered to the change rooms where we slipped into plush robes and comfy slippers. The use of mirrors throughout the spa creates a spacious, modern feel and is unlike anything I’ve seen before. Whether you need to remove your makeup or hydrate your skin, the counter tops are lined with Clarins products for use.

Nitin and I met back in the lobby where we were directed to a private seating area around the corner serving up delicious teas, infused water, juices and snacks. We filled out our paperwork and sipped on tea while looking out onto the pool. We then pushed through the clear glass doors overlooking the pool and were met crisp white chairs, with the sound of waterfalls whisking away worries and a feeling of complete and utter relaxation. We made our way to the pool, sank into a cozy bench and admired the walls adorned with beautiful mirrors while we waited for our treatments.

I was treated to the Beautiful Mother-To-Be experience which was everything I never knew I always wanted …and quite frankly, something I needed more than ever. The room was large and calming, and the treatment itself was a slice of heaven. I was on my back for the entire treatment, which started with hot towels on my tired feet. My legs and arms were massaged with the perfect pressure, unwinding every ounce of tension and stiffness. Clarins infamous Stretch Mark Minimizer was generously applied to my stomach, followed by their Bust Beauty Firming Lotion on my breasts. The one major difference I often notice between treatments in Canada and the rest of the world is that we are so much more conservative in Canada. My masseuse did ask permission prior to the treatment which I gladly gave, I just find it interesting how treatments can vary depending on where in the world you’re having it done. My treatment continued with a face and scalp massage using some of my favourite Clarins products.

Nitin opted for the Clarins Men’s treatment, The Face (I may or may not have slightly nudged him in that direction). He’s always had a preconceived notion that facials are full of painful extractions and someone picking at your skin, despite me raving about my experiences. When he came out of the treatment he was singing a completely different tune. His treatment focused on adding moisture to his skin and reducing the look of wrinkles and dark circles. It hydrated and purified his face, and also included a scalp, neck and shoulder massage, which left him in a state of sheer relaxation.

When our treatments were complete we were presented with macaroons (doesn’t get more Parisienne than this) and infused water. Nitin and I sat by the pool enjoying the calmness after a busy couple weeks, before making our way to get ready for dinner. To no surprise, Spa My Blend by Clarins exceeded our every expectation and left us on cloud nine. If you have a chance to visit Paris, I definitely recommend adding this spa to your list because it truly is a must-see.
