Who doesn’t love subscription boxes? The anticipation of getting something in the mail, the joy of unboxing, and the excitement of discovering new products that you can’t wait to start using. Fast forward six months and you’re surrounded by boxes filled with unused hand creams, skincare samples and random tea bags. I’ve tried so many different subscription boxes over the years and while I have found some great pieces and products in them, I never end up using more than half the items I receive. Enter my new favourite subscription box by Maple & Lather, filled with a luxurious, well-crafted product that you can use every day …soap!
Maple & Lather is a local Canadian company that specializes in clean, responsible, luxurious soaps delivered right to your door. All soaps are formulated right here in Canada and produced in Provence, France (this region of France, which I can’t wait to visit one day, is known for their soap-making). Each bar of Maple & Lather soap undergoes a triple milling process, which in layman’s terms basically helps to remove extra moisture and air, resulting in a longer-lasting bar of soap (like seriously long-lasting!).
Morning & Evening Routine
My morning and especially evening routines are my me-time; a time to step away from any worries, decompress and simply unwind in the company of peace, quiet and great brands. I use products that enhance my overall routine and it didn’t take long for Maple & Lather soaps to earn a permanent spot in my daily lineup. I don’t know about you guys, but there is nothing worse than splurging on a beautiful bar of soap only to have it
turn into a pile of mush after one use. These Maple & Lather soaps are thick, solid, clean, fragrant and most importantly they maintain their shape. Within seconds you have a hand full of suds for a deep, nourishing clean. On top of this, their packaging is responsibly sourced and recyclable.
Clean Beauty
I talk a lot about using natural and organic products in my life as much as possible. What you put onto your skin goes into your body, so clean beauty is extremely important to me. I can’t tell you guys how much I love the fact that all Maple & Lather soaps are plant-based and are 100% cruelty free. They’re made with responsibly sourced palm oil and contain no harmful chemicals …adios phthalates, SLS, parabens & GMOs! On top of this, the little exfoliants you see in the soap are made with real plant ingredients such as lavender pedals, mint leaves and verbena leaves. It doesn’t get more clean than this!
Soap Subscription
So how exactly does the Maple & Lather Soap Subscription work? It’s ridiculously simple and I have such an appreciation for the level of customization because you can truly make this subscription box your own. Side note – is this not the most awesome gift idea?! I know some of my friends are having a tough time with Covid lately, so instead of spending $50+ on getting baked goods delivered I’m going to start sending them a
subscription box …the gift that keeps on giving.
Step 1: Choose Your Subscription Combo
There are 6 options to choose from which you can view here. Maple & Lather also offers the most incredible soy candles (I am obsessed) and you can add these onto your subscription.
Step 2: Pick Your Favourite Scents
I love the option to select your scents. A lot of subscription boxes limit the
personalization element and more often than not you end up with scents you don’t enjoy. Maple & Lather offers six scents to choose from; Alpine Cedar, Lavender Flower, Lemon Verbena, Maple, Northern Mint and Orange Bergamot.
Step 3: Choose How Often
Again, I love this option to customize the delivery timing. Customers have the option to receive their subscriptions every 30 days, 60 or 90 days.
Whether you’re looking to treat yourself or surprise someone special, you can click here to order your first box and enjoy the best soap of your life! Bold statement, I know :).
